The first thing you will notice as you approach “The City’ is how unlikely it seems that a world class climbing venue could be found out here at all. The area surrounding Almo is heavy in agriculture and any approach involves a serpentine through fields right up to the time where rocks seem to suddenly erupt out of the ground.
